Our Story

OtakuBun Studio is a fan art based merchandise shop varying from different types of video games and animes. It's more than just a brand -- OtakuBun Studio has grown into a lovely community of friends! It all started with the founder, Kristina or MissRiceBunny, going to her first anime convention. 

As an avid video game and anime lover, I was always interested into stickers. Now my anxiety about placing stickers is all over the place but that doesn't hinder me from purchasing cute stickers! When I went to my first anime convention, A-Kon 2018, I was really drawn into the stickers other vendors had. I thought, "Oh! I could probably get some of my own anime stickers made just for myself." That's when I invested into my first cricut machine.

Twitchcon is a big community meetup that is held in California every year. People from all over the world attend for their love of video games and streaming it on the Twitch platform. In 2018, this is when I met one of our artists, Charmchi. We became really close friends, best friends you could say, and I didn't realize she did art! When I saw her art I right away asked her if she would like to collab with me on making artwork for OtakuBun because I can barely draw sticker figures. She agreed and we started.

OtakuBun was established in March of 2019. First it was under the name AlienBunnyShop but then we moved to Redlite Studio and now OtakuBun Studio. OtakuBun Studio, Otaku meaning a person having an intense or obsessive interest especially in the fields of anime and manga and Bun just shorten for Bunny. OtakuBun has gone through many different artist in the past. Some left to do their own adventures while the others stayed to help out OtakuBun! We are truly grateful for these artists and we hope to continue to grow with them! I truly believe that if you're consistent in your passion and putting in the work, there's nothing you can't achieve!
